The IncrediBuild_RunFirst Directive

Note:

  • This section is relevant for VS 2008 and earlier.
The IncrediBuild_RunFirst directive can be used to specify that a certain file-level custom build step run before all other steps in a project. This may be required for a number of reasons.

To declare that a custom build step should run before all other steps in a project, open that step's command line box, and enter the following line as one of the step's commands:


rem IncrediBuild_RunFirst

This does not affect the step's operation, but instructs IncrediBuild to run this step before all others.
