初回のインストール

IncrediBuild Enterprise Edition は IncrediBuild システムで使用する予定のホストマシンにインストールする必要があります。

初めてインストールをする場合は、IncrediBuild Coordinator、PostgreSQL (ビルドと Agent の使用率に関するデータを格納するデータベース)、Apache サーバー (IncrediBuild ダッシュボードをホスト) がインストールされます。 

ホストマシンに Agent をインストールすることもできますが、これはシステム内の他のマシンだけでなくホストマシンにも Agent をインストールしたい場合にのみオプションで使用します。 


Notes:

  • インストール処理を完了するには有効な Enterprise Edition ライセンスが必要です。
  • ライセンスの取得については sales@incredibuild.com までお問い合わせください。


初回のインストール

IncrediBuild Enterprise Edition のインストール手順

IncrediBuild Enterprise Edition のインストーラーをダウンロードします。

  1. After you have the installer file downloaded, you may begin the installation process.
  2. Open the installer file and you will be greeted by this screen:
    • Click Next to proceed.
  3. You will be given two options. You can directly Install IncrediBuild to your machine or you can set up an Automated Installer. For your first installation use the "Install IncrediBuild" option.
    • Click Next to proceed.
  4. Accept the Terms and Conditions and click Next.
  5. On the following screen you have the choice of doing a Typical Installation or a Custom Installation. 

    • Notes: 

      • For your first installation it is suggested to use the Typical Installation option. This will allow you install  both an IncrediBuild Coordinator and an IncrediBuild Agent on your host machine. 
      • It is not necessary to install an Agent on your Main Coordinator machine. However it is necessary to have Agents on the other machines within your Infrastructure to harness the capabilities of IncrediBuild.  
      • Use the custom Installation option to manually select which components you would like installed on your machine, besides that, the procedure is the same.
    • Click Next to proceed.
  6. You can install a new Coordinator or connect to an existing one. Install a new Coordinator for your first installation.
    • Click Next to proceed.
  7. The Agent Settings screen will appear. You can configure the maximum cache size for the Agent and also have the option to install the IncrediBuild add-in for the Microsoft Visual Studio IDE.
    • Click Next to proceed.
  8. Now you can select which ports to be used by the IncrediBuild Agent. We suggest using the default ports selected unless they conflict with other ports currently in use.
    • Click Next to proceed.
  9. The Coordinator Network Settings window will appear. We suggest using the default port unless it conflicts with a port currently in use.
  10. Select a Destination Folder for where you want IncrediBuild installed. 
    • Click Next to proceed.
  11. Select where you want your IncrediBuild Database installed and select a port to be used for the locally installed Dashboard. We suggest the default port unless it conflicts with a port currently in use.

    • Note: Make sure your selected destination is large enough to contain your database as it could become really big in size over time. It is suggested to have atleast 5GB of space available for this.

    • Click Next to proceed.
  12. Setup is now ready, Click next and wait for the installation process to complete.

    • Popups may appear during the installation process for the Apache server. Make sure you allow access through Windows Firewall.

  13. Setup is now complete, now all you need to do is load in a valid license. 
    • Locate your license file location and load it in.
    • Click Next, the Loaded License screen will now appear, confirming your License details.
    • Click Next to proceed.

    • If you haven't received your license, contact us at sales@incredibuild.com.

  14. The next window will notify you that the IncrediBuild components have successfully been installed.
    • Click Finish.
  15. You are now ready to use IncrediBuild Enterprise Edition.

Installing Additional Agents

Notes:

  • After you have finished your initial setup and have a Coordinator installed on your host machine, you don't need to install the entire Enterprise Edition installation file on the remote Agent machines. There is a file called "install.exe", which will be located in the directory wherever you have intially installed IncrediBuild. ((C:\Program Files (x86)\Xoreax\IncrediBuild\install.exe).
  • This is suggested since you don't need PostgreSQL nor the Apache server on these Agent machines, so the installation file is much smaller.
  • Additionally, the smaller installation file includes options for installing a backup Coordinator and single-use VM instances if needed.


To install IncrediBuild Agents:

To install additional Agents on other machines within the network, repeat the installation procedure, but connect to the previously installed main Coordinator, rather than creating a new one.

  1. Download the IncrediBuild installer file.
  2. repeat the installation procedure, but connect to the previously installed main Coordinator, rather than creating a new one.
  3. This will install an IncrediBuild Agent on the machine.
