The licensing model of IncrediBuild Linux is based on the number of cores you want to use for accelerating your builds. For example, if you want to use 100 cores via the 30 machines you have in your network, you need to purchase a license package of 100 cores. You can purchase any number of licenses according to the number of your available cores.

Each machine that participates in IncrediBuild Environment, except for the Coordinator machine, needs to have one Agent installed, regardless of the number of cores it has. The Installer file you receive from IncrediBuild allows you to install as many Agents as needed. It also includes the Coordinator and the Web Management Console component. You do not need to have an active license in order to install IncrediBuild Linux and prepare its Environment.

All the licenses you purchase are contained in one License file you receive from IncrediBuild. After you obtain your License file and activate it, the Coordinator automatically allocates licenses to the connected machines in IncrediBuild Environment. The licenses are allocated according to the number of cores each Agent machine has. This allocation of licenses is considered as an Agent subscription. If required, you can unsubscribe licenses from one machine and use them on another machine, or you can purchase additional licenses to enlarge your IncrediBuild Environment.
