This section describes how to customize IncrediBuild's integration with Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0's IDE.
Adding Commands to the IncrediBuild Toolbar
All of the commands displayed in the IncrediBuild menu can be added to the IncrediBuild toolbar (as well as to any other toolbar in the IDE).
To add or remove commands from the toolbar:
- From the Tools menu, select Customize.
- From the Category list, choose Add-ins, and drag command icons in and out of the toolbar as necessary.
Overriding MSVC 6.0's Default Build Keyboard Shortcuts
To change the keyboard shortcuts for IncrediBuild commands:
- From the Tools menu, select Customize.
- Select the Keyboard page.
- From the Category list, choose Add-ins.
- From the command list, choose the relevant command, enter the required keyboard shortcut, and click Assign.
Note:
- MSVC's standard keyboard shortcuts may be overridden this way. For example, by setting F7 to start an IncrediBuild build, or CTRL-F7 to compile the currently edited file, for example.
