In order to run IncrediBuild Cloud on Azure platform, you need to have the following:

To activate IncrediBuild Cloud, you must have a user that has these two roles. However, you can use these roles in two ways in the activation procedure of IncrediBuild Cloud:

  • Sign into your Azure account with the user who has Global Administrator and Owner roles - in this case, you grant IncrediBuild the permissions included in these roles, and you will not need to provide any additional login details. IncrediBuild Cloud will automatically use these permissions to create and obtain the necessary login details for your organization.
  • Sign into your Azure account with a user who has lower roles - in this case, you grant IncrediBuild lower permissions, and you will need to provide additional login details during the solution activation procedure. These login details should be provided to you by a user in your organization who has Global Administrator and Owner roles, and therefore can create and obtain the required details.

Note: To learn more about the login details you will need to provide, see Obtaining the Required Login Details, page 13.

  • Sufficient Core Quota for Azure Region – by default, each Azure region has a quota limit to the number of cores that can be used by the VMs that run on it. Before you activate IncrediBuild Cloud, you should find out what is this quota limit for your preferred region. If this quota limit is too low for your needs and you want more cores for the acceleration of your task execution, you need to increase the quota by sending a request to Azure support. For detailed information, see Setting the Core Quota of an Azure Region.
