Downgrading Back to IncrediBuild Pro Edition


In case you want to uninstall IncrediBuild Enterprise Edition and  revert back to the Pro Edition, we've made the process such that you don't need to completely uninstall all of the IncrediBuild components and completely reinstall the Pro Edition all over again.

The Downgrade process will uninstall the additional components that made up the Enterprise Edition, leaving you with the remaining components that make up the IncrediBuild Pro Edition


Notes:

  • Your existing Enterprise Edition license can still be used even after downgrading to the Pro Edition
  • The option to completely uninstall IncrediBuild is available to you as well.

How to Downgrade:

To downgrade from the Enterprise Edition back to the Pro Edition:

  1. Open the IncrediBuild Enterprise Edition Setup installer.
  2. Open the installer file and you will be greeted by this screen:
    • Click Next to proceed.
  3. You will be given four options. Select the "Downgrade to IncrediBuild Pro Edition" option. 

    • Select the "Uninstall IncrediBuild" option if you no longer want any of the IncrediBuild files or components on your machine. This works exactly the same way as it does for the Pro Edition.

    • Click Next to proceed.
  4. You will be greeted by this window explaining the downgrade process. 

    • Note: If you want to keep the data accumulated by the Enterprise Edition make sure to back it up

    • Click Next to proceed.
  5. The downgrade process will now begin. 

    • Note: During the downgrade, the IncrediBuild Dashboard, PostgreSQL, and the Apache Server will be removed. 

  6. Your downgrade is now complete and you are back to IncrediBuild Pro Edition.
