The setup file of the IncrediBuild Enterprise Edition should only be executed on machines that hosts an active IncrediBuild main Coordinator. The setup file installs additional components that are only relevant to the machine hosting the Coordinator.
The componente include an internal Apache web server that will service the IncrediBuild Dashboard and a PostgreSQL database which IncrediBuild uses to store the data generated by IncrediBuild.
In the upgrade process, it is advised to upgrade the Coordinator and allow the upgrade process to upgrade the Agents connected to the Coordinator if needed. This can be done automatically during the upgrade process if you choose this option.
In a fresh install, it is advised to first install the IncrediBuild Enterprise Edition setup on the machine that will host the main Coordinator and then use the smaller Agent installation file that will be located on the machine hosting your IncrediBuild main Coordinator.
This Agents installer file can be found under "IncrediBuildInstallFolder\IncrediBuild\install.exe."
This smaller install file can be used to install the IncrediBuild Agents on the other remote machines that you'd like to add to your IncrediBuild Infrastructure.
Using the entire IncrediBuild Enterprise Edition setup file to install the Agents is also possible, but the setup will only install the required Agents and not the other components that are necessarily installed on your Coordinator machine.
We suggest using the smaller Agent installer file as it takes up less space than the main Enterprise Edition installer file.

- Supported operating systems: Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016.
- Network: Any TCP/IP based network. Recommended: 1000 Mbps or higher.
- Minimal hardware requirements: Pentium 400 Mhz, 256 Mb RAM, Ethernet card.
- User privileges: User running the setup should have Power User privileges or higher.
IncrediBuild Enterprise Coordinator
- Supported operating systems: Only 64-bit operating systems are supported - Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016.
- Software limitations: The machine that hosts the Coordinator shouldn't have PostgreSQL installed on prior to installing the IncrediBuild Enterprise Edition.
- Storage retirements: On the storage on which you'll instruct IncrediBuild to install its database, you should have at least 5GB available for the IncrediBuild database to use.
- Network: Any TCP/IP based network. Recommended: 1000 Mbps or higher.
- Minimal hardware requirements: Pentium 400 Mhz, 256 Mb RAM, Ethernet card.
- User privileges: User running the setup should have Administrator privileges
