If you do not have an Azure account in your organization, Azure offers you $200 credit for 30 days to explore Azure services for free: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free/
During this period, you can use the credit to run IncrediBuild Cloud on Azure. The credit will cover both Azure VMs and IncrediBuild licenses. If after 30 days you will want to continue using IncrediBuild Cloud with Azure, you will be asked to confirm your consent to pay for these services. When using this credit, you cannot use Azure Marketplace to purchase IncrediBuild Cloud solution.

  • Role-Based Access Control (RABC) - Owner – when activating IncrediBuild Cloud, you need to sign into your Azure account with an RABC of Owner. If you do not have a user with such a role, assign this role to an existing user or create a new user: Image Removed

Setting the Core Quota of an Azure Region

During the solution activation procedure, you need to specify the Azure region on which the pool and additional Helper VMs will be created. By default, each Azure region has a quota limit to the number of cores that can be used by the VMs that run on it. If this quota limit is lower than the number of cores you want to use for executing tasks on the cloud, you need to increase in advance this quota. The quota increase is done at the subscription level, by sending a request to Azure support via Azure portal.

The VMs that are created by IncrediBuild Cloud for your task execution belong to the Standard BS Family. Therefore, when searching for the current quota limit of your selected region, you need to look for the quota of this type of VMs. By default, the quota limit of the Standard BS Family vCPUs is 10 cores. It is recommended to increase the quota of these VMs to at least the number of cores you want to allocate for executing your tasks on the cloud.
