By default, each Agent is assigned to the Default Build Group when it is installed, and its assignment can be changed after the installation is completed. However, if you want the Agent to be assigned to a different Build Group upon its launch, you can assign it to the required Build Group during its installation procedure.
> To assign an Agent to a Build Group via the Setup wizard:
Double-click IncrediBuild Setup file to start the Agent installation.
Follow the Setup wizard instructions and click Next, until you reach the Coordinator Selection page.
On the Coordinator Selection page, perform the following:
Select the Connect Agent to existing Coordinator option.
In the Network name field, enter the IP address or hostname of the Coordinator.
To assign the new Agent to a Build Group, click the Advanced arrow below the Network name field. Then, from the Assign this to Build Group drop-down list, select the Build Group to which you want to assign the Agent:

If the Advanced option is disabled, you receive the following error message when you click it:
The Coordinator does not allow Agents self registration to Build Group.
This error message may be caused by one of the following:You are not using an Enterprise Edition license.
You did not enable this option in the Coordinator Settings dialog box.
The Build Group drop-down list includes the Build Groups that are currently defined in the Coordinator you specified.
You cannot create a new Build Group from the Setup wizard, only from the Coordinator Monitor.
After you selected the required Build Group, click Next and continue to follow the wizard instructions until you complete the Agent installation.
Exit the Setup wizard.
A new Agent is now installed on the machine, and it is automatically assigned to the Build Group you selected.
