In case you want to uninstall stop using IncrediBuild Enterprise Edition and  revert back to the but would like to keep the IncrediBuild infrastructure you've set intact and use it as an IncrediBuild Pro Edition, we've made the process such that you don't need to completely uninstall all of the IncrediBuild components and completely reinstall the Pro Edition all over again.

The Downgrade process will uninstall the additional components that made up the Enterprise Edition, leaving you with the remaining components that make up the IncrediBuild Pro Edition

Notes:

  • Your existing Enterprise Edition license can still be used even after downgrading to the Pro Edition
  • The option to completely uninstall IncrediBuild is available to you as well.


How to Downgrade

To downgrade from the IncrediBuild Enterprise Edition back to the IncrediBuild Pro Edition:

  1. Open the IncrediBuild Enterprise Edition Setup installer. (Beelal, users can also access this by: double clicking IncrediBuild's "uninstall" or through the add \ remove program. I believe that telling the user to use the uninstall makes more sense)
  2. Open the installer file and you will be greeted by this screen:
    • Click Next to proceed.
  3. You will be given four options. Select the "Downgrade to IncrediBuild Pro Edition" option.

    Select the "Uninstall IncrediBuild" option if you

    no longer want any of the IncrediBuild files or components on your machine. This

    would like to completely remote IncrediBuild from this machine. The "Uninstall IncrediBuild" option works exactly the same way as it does for the IncrediBuild Pro Edition.

    • Click Next to proceed.
  4. You will be greeted by this window explaining the downgrade process.

    Note: If you want to keep the data accumulated by the IncrediBuild Enterprise Edition

    make sure to back it up

  5. The downgrade process will now begin.

    Note: During the downgrade, the IncrediBuild Dashboard, the IncrediBuild database, PostgreSQL, and the Apache Server will be removed.

  6. Your downgrade is now complete and you are back to now working with the IncrediBuild Pro Edition.
